Hike Inspiration Point via Mt. Lowe Rd.

This hike has great views of the San Gabriel Mountains and cities and will lead you to two historical sites. One is the Ye Alpine Tavern, at elevation 4,400 feet, which is now Mt. Lowe Trail Camp. Another is Inspiration Point, at elevation 4,530 feet, where sighting tubes are still in place for visitors to take a hands-on geographical lesson.
